The famous angel of death Louise Peete brutally murdered a lot of people in broad daylight and only spared a handful. How then did she manage to get away with murder for a very long time?

She was born on September 20 1880, in Bienville, Louisiana. At 15, her wealthy parents obtained her place at a private boarding school in New Orleans. Disappointingly, her stay was short-lived. Within a few months of her arrival, she was shockingly apprehended for stealing, initiating and engaging in sexual relations with her male schoolmates.

In 1903 she married a travelling salesman, Henry Bosley. With his job demanding him to be away from home, he hoped his wife would uphold her vows, keep her eyes and legs closed but disappointingly that was not the case. After four years, their marriage crumbled with Henry finding his wife in bed with another man. Deeply hurt by her actions, Henry fell into depression and eventually committed suicide. It marked the beginning of mysterious deaths.

After her husband’s death, Louise relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana. Desperate to earn a living, she saw prostitution as a quick and easy way to obtain money. She started her business, and in a short period, it bloomed, but what her clients didn’t know was that they were secretly paying double because Louise was stealing from them…
