Mother Leaves Toddler On The Streets Unsupervised
In a video that has angered a lot of people, an irresponsible mother allegedly left her son on the sidewalk for at least 3 minutes unsupervised while doing her shopping.
According to the man who recorded the incident and posted it on Facebook, the unidentified woman allegedly dumped her toddler on a public bench in a shopping mall for about three minutes and began shopping. Meanwhile, her son, about 16 months old, stumbled on the bench as he tried to balance himself and stand up.
As she exited the mall, her phone rang, and she began attending to the person on the other side of the line without checking if he was okay since she had left him outside. As if that was not irresponsible enough, she watched him try to pick up dirt and shove it down his mouth as she giggled and enjoyed her conversation. Sadly, by the time he tried to step in and rebuke her, she told him to mind his business as her son was not in danger and needed nobody else. Unfortunately, he respected her boundaries and walked away as he watched the little man being neglected.
However, despite realizing that he was recording her, she remained unmoved until he called it a day and walked away. The only thing he wished for the child was for God to protect him.
However, everyone who has seen the video thinks they are both to be blamed. One user commented, “You should have called the police instead of filming. Neither you nor her are worthy to be called parents. Someone should call the police and have this child taken away from her. She doesn’t deserve to be called a mother.”
Nonetheless, some felt the woman was being harsh to the good Samaritan. In response, one said, “he did his best; the least we can do is appreciate him. What if he called the police, and she lied that he was harassing her or something? Color matters, remember”.
What do you think about this case? Why do people have kids if they are not ready to parent? I always heard labor was painful, but with the murder cases and neglect cases I see every day, I doubt. I guess l will find out the day l become a mother. Take care, and God bless you.
