Tiktoker Fakes His Own Death To Teach His Family A Lesson And People Are Not Impressed
David Baerten, a Belgian TikToker, has angered many people after explaining why he faked his own death and then turned up at his funeral in a helicopter. “Cheers to you all; welcome to my funeral.”
In a statement that has left many people divided, David said;
“What I see in my family often hurts me. I never get invited to anything. Nobody sees me. We all grew apart. I felt unappreciated. That’s why I wanted to give them a life lesson and show them that you shouldn’t wait until someone is dead to meet up with them” However, “only half of my family came to the funeral. That proves who really cares about me. Those who didn’t come, didn’t contact me to meet up. So, in a way, I did win.”
However, his followers have told him to act like an adult and find better ways to deal with the situation. One commented, “This is an insult to those that have genuinely lost loved ones. You should have dealt with this in a more dignified and private manner like we all do with our families. Now you have hurt your followers, people you call your second family — for what clout? I just unfollowed.”
In agreement, another said, “Damn, I could never put my family through that… I hope karma will take care of him….”
